NPSD (Network Passenger Sales Development)

Network Passenger Sales Development (NPSD) is a key part of Commercial’s strategic marketing process. It was established to provide sales support functions, develop tactical sales strategies, sales force automation and sales force training and development. Over time, its strategic role and importance have grown with the airline.

Today, NPSD is responsible for the planning, development and revenue growth strategies for all our distribution channels worldwide, initiates and drives Commercial’s strategic marketing process, setting and measuring its objectives.

Areas of responsibility include:
• Commercial strategy planning
• Traditional sales channel development
• Business analysis & reportin
• Commercial tactical product development
• Sales force training & development
• Key account management planning & development
• Planning, development and growth strategies for Emirates call centres and retail shops
• E-Commerce, including online booking services, the management of online promotional and sales initiatives, and the development of online self-service solutions
